About Boll and Branch Sheets
What we buy makes an impact. Not just on our lives, but the environment and the people that create our favorite things. I know that comfort is an obvious must when shopping for bedding, but I often wonder what cost my personal comfort comes at.
Boll and Branch is a luxury bedding company selling sheets, mattresses, bath accessories, and clothing. Made with 100% organic cotton, Boll and Branch prioritizes the environment and their customers by using sustainable farming practices and eco-friendly shipping.
In this Boll and Branch sheets review, I’ll give you an overview of the company, their products, customer feedback, and more to help you shop with confidence.
Overview of Boll and Branch Sheets
In 2013, Boll and Branch co-founders Scott Tannen and Missy Tannen went shopping for bed sheets, and that trip changed their life. The Tannens discovered that no sheets revealed any information about how they were made or who they were made by. So, they did what any person with enough guts, compulsion, and determination would do: opened their own textile company. The goal? To simply do what’s right.
With 288k Instagram followers and a seriously comfy-looking feed, Boll and Branch has taken the bedding industry by storm. Their 100% organic bedding is good for your sleep routine and the environment. But, rest assured, Boll and Branch aren’t just experts in cotton bed sheets and pillow cases. Nope, you’ll see in this Boll and Branch sheets review that they have a little something for everyone.
Carrying super soft women and men’s robes, flannel pyjama pants, bath towels and beach towels, Boll and Branch expertise expands to all things cozy. They want you to snuggle up and get dreaming in products that are silky soft and sustainably made. I can’t argue with that.
Aside from being environmentally friendly, Boll and Branch prides themselves on caring for their employees, who they view as family. They take a hands on approach to make sure their customers and staff are given nothing but the best.
Their products are manufactured in India, Portugal, and the USA and made by adults who work at their own will, are fairly paid, and treated with the utmost respect. Who makes the products we buy is equally as important to how the products are made, so I appreciate knowing Boll and Branch is responsible in both.
The pros and cons are up next in this Boll and Branch sheets review, but after that I’ll tell you all about the brand’s best-sellers.

Boll and Branch Duvet Set Review
Classic Hemmed Duvet Set
The Classic Hemmed Duvet Set is the finishing touch your bedroom needs. Including one duvet cover and two standard shams, this elegant set is soft to touch and easy on the eyes. Usually I’m not big on prints, but I think this one is perfectly elegant.
This Boll and Branch duvet set comes in full/queen size for $328 and king/California king size for $358.
Colorblock Duvet Set
The Colorblock Duvet Set is the Colorblock Sheet Set’s soulmate. I love that it’s simple and fresh and offers a nice alternative to plain bed sets.
Delivering a touch of color to your bedroom, this set comes in dune, pewter, shore, and navy. Made with 100% organic cotton, the duvet cover features corner ties and an envelope closure to make sure it stays in place, all night long. The Colorblock Duvet Set is available in full/queen size for $348 and king/California king size for $388.
Eyelet Duvet Set
The Eyelet Duvet Set features beautiful stitching details that elevate its sophisticated simplicity. I think it totally exudes luxury and would look great in my guest bedroom.
With a matte finish and light feel, this duvet set will keep you or your guests cozy from morning to night. The only downfall to this set is that with its ultra soft touch, you might find it a bit too difficult to get out of bed in the morning. This Boll and Branch duvet set is available in white, natural, pewter, and shore, priced at $348 for full/queen size and $388 for king/California king.
Boll and Branch Pillow Review
Down Pillow
With the Boll and Branch Down Pillow, you can sleep easily knowing these pillows are filled with responsibly sourced down from US farms. They’ve been triple washed so they stays cleaner for longer.
The Down Pillow is available in soft, medium, and firm. So whether you want that soft, cloud-like feeling or more neck support, this pillow works for you. Personally, I like to have one of each on hand.
The cost of the Down Pillow varies depending on your preferred level of softness and size. You can get it in standard size for: soft $158, medium $178, and firm $198. Or grab one in king size for: soft $178, medium $198, or firm $218.
Down Alternative Pillow
I love the comfort of a down pillow but prefer to stay away from feathers when I can. The Down Alternative Pillow meets me half way. It has that lightweight, down-filled feeling without the down.
Instead, it’s filled with a synthetic fiber that is equally soft and even allergy-friendly. Maybe it’s time to say hello to a better night’s sleep. The Down Alternative Pillow comes in soft, medium, and firm and is available in standard size for $98 and king sized for $108.
Boll and Branch Mattress Review
I couldn’t leave out the brand’s signature mattress in my Boll and Branch bedding review. After all, life without a good mattress sounds exhausting.
The Boll and Branch Mattress has that luxury mattress feel without all the foam. Made from ethically sourced, natural materials (like wool and Talalay latex), this mattress does the unthinkable: it’s good for your back and the environment. Wondering how that’s possible?
Well, this mattress features the five layers that work together for a great night’s sleep. I’ll run you through the lot below:

- Natural Latex is durable and biodegradable since it’s made from trees, making this mattress environmentally friendly
- Micro-coils have enough stability to support your body and reduce pressure points
- Foundational Coils are resilient and quiet, so you can toss and turn all you want

I purchased a set of Boll & Branch Flannel Sheets and used them for 2-3 months and followed all their washing instructions. Due to the excessive pilling, they are now so rough they are like sleeping on sand! I reached out to customer service and they did ask for pictures of the pilling but it has now been 4 weeks and I’ve not gotten any further response. This is horrible customer service. I’m not only dissatisfied with their product but their customer service is equally unacceptable.
