Overview of Cult of Individuality
Ron Poisson created Cult of Individuality in 2009. He earned a reputation for being “the cult leader of denim” and “the Jeansmith to the One.” Poisson is known for his knowledge of wash treatments, passion for music, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Poisson founded the company during economic uncertainty and noted that it wasn’t “the most opportune time to launch a brand” on Bond Official. But it helped him foster a loyal and diverse customer base. He also collaborated with different artists who encouraged wearers to fashion their own style with the Cult’s pieces.
According to the main website, the Californian brand centers around designers, and they use denim “as the canvas for personal style, exploration, and expression,” according to the main website. They’re committed to being contemporary and creative while maintaining the Cult’s aesthetic.

Cult of Individuality Reviews: What Do Customers Think?
At this point of my Cult of Individuality review, you’re probably wondering what customers think of the brand, right? I searched the web for testimonials about products and the brand’s customer service, but unfortunately, I came up short.
The main website doesn’t have ratings for the featured products, and there are a limited number of reviews online. But, I did find a couple on Amazon and Denimology.
The Punk Super Skinny jeans get some love on Amazon. They have 4.7/5 stars from 14 ratings with two written reviews.
One customer writes, “Since these jeans are super skinny, I suggest go up a size or two. I’m generally a 30 or 31 in jeans and I bought these in a size 32. The quality of the jeans are great hey feel like you paid $200 or more for them.”
The other reviewer says, “New theyd be a little snug so I had to wait to do the review to make sure I will keep them. They are made to fit but they do have elastic.”
“Knew they’d be a little snug, so I had to wait to do the review to make sure I’ll keep them. They are made to fit, but they do have an elastic.”
A blog called Denimology also reviews the company’s raw denim jeans. The reviewer writes, “I felt like these jeans were taken right from the hands of a craftsman and placed directly in the box that was shipped to me.”
They continue, noting that they felt nervous making the purchase, but they found them true to size. The raw denim also allows the wearer to create their own “perfect fade.” They write that they’ve purchased raw denim before but found them extremely rigid. The Cult’s jeans are comfortable and high-quality in comparison.
Unfortunately, at the time of this Cult of Individuality review I couldn’t find any other ratings about customer service or product quality. But, with its retail and celebrity reach, it seems like the brand is doing well behind the scenes.
Is Cult of Individuality Legit?
Cult of Individuality looks pretty legit. There aren’t any reviews that pose red flags regarding shipping or customer service, but there aren’t any positive ones either. It can be hard to gauge whether the company is doing well online without ratings. Still, I think it’s safe to assume that their team can deliver high-quality products and services.
Is Cult of Individuality Worth It?
Based on this Cult of Individuality review, I think the brand is worth checking out if you have the means. Their denim receives high praise from customers and celebrities. Their clothing items feature artistic and eye-catching designs that’ll do well in your wardrobe. And despite the lack of ratings, the Cult has made a name for itself with some noteworthy customers.
