EBL 500W Power Station Review
Now that I’ve gotten introductions and pros and cons out of the way, let’s get into the meat of my EBL 500W Power Station review.
Features
I’ll make this as simple as possible, the EBL 500W Power Station can power your entire camping trip or picnic. It can charge and recharge up to 10 devices at once. Here’s how its outlets break down:
- 3 DC outputs
- 2 AC outputs
- 3 USB-A 3.0 outlets
- 1 USC-C outlets
Oh, and it features wireless charging. You know, if you don’t want to put your phone right beside your mini-fridge.
Another key feature of the EBL 500W Power Station is its portability. It only weighs 6kg or around 13 pounds if you prefer the imperial system. That’s not heavy at all, especially compared to generators that run on fuel. It also features a foldable handle so it should feel more like you’re carrying a light dumbbell rather than a clunky generator.
Size-wise, the EBL 500W Power Station is pretty small. It’s roughly as large as a toaster which is pretty agreeable given its capacity. Of course, it’s larger than powerbanks used for mobile phones, but it’s also leagues more powerful than them.
Speaking of mobile phones, let’s talk about how many times the EBL 500W Power Station can bring yours back to life. It has enough juice to recharge a smartphone over 40 times, power a television for 7 hours, and keep a fan running for 12 hours.
How Does It Work
Do you have a spare seven hours? If so, you can fully charge the EBL 500W Power Station. All it requires is 7 hours of direct sunlight, an EBL solar panel, and an MC4 connector cable. Hook the generator up to the solar panel and set it in an area where it can receive ample sunlight.
Alternatively, you can connect the generator to our car using the included 12V car charging cable or the wall plug adapter. It should accumulate power in the same amount of time it’d take to charge using sunlight.
I’ll also take a second to remind you that the EBL 500W Power Station has a 519.4 Watt-hours output, and as you can likely infer from its name, it has a 500W capacity. That’s obviously powerful enough to recharge phones and laptops, but it’s also suitable for home appliances like grills, electric stoves, and coffee makers.
Sadly, it seems that you must purchase the EBL solar panel separately. You’ll read about prices in the next section of my EBL 500W Power Station review.

If you’re shopping on Amazon, you can pick up the EBL 500W Power Station for $419. There are a few other options if you want to increase or decrease the generator’s wattage. They are as follows:

My wife used it last night with both the humidifier and the heated hose and when we woke up this morning it still had 55% charge left. Perfect!” wrote one customer.
Another Amazon shopper wrote a concise EBL 500W Power Station review that outlined the pros and cons. Thankfully, there were many more pros than cons. I’ll conclude this segment with one final customer review. “Looks great, Perfect for my needs. I think it is very suitable for camping or traveling far away, too convenient.
