Are magnets safe to wear on the face?
The magnets that Pair Eyewear uses in their Top Frames and Base Frames are safe for you and your children’s faces. They do not produce EMF and have been tested and approved by eye doctors, and found to be completely safe for kids and adults. They will not affect your eyesight and they will not interfere with pacemakers. Also, you won’t have to worry about them going off in airport scanners.
They weigh under a gram, and here’s their makeup: 22% Neodymium / 70% Iron / 5% Boron / 3% Dysprosium. They do, however, have a 1% nickel coating, so if you have a nickel sensitivity, try a pair out before you purchase a bundle.
What is the weight of your base frames?
Pair’s base frames weigh just 17 grams which is about 0.6 ounces. For reference, a pencil weighs about an ounce, which means their frames are incredibly lightweight.
How thick are your top frames?
