Who Am I

I’m Nea, and I have been living dairy and egg free for over 8 years. I was completely vegan for 7, and the majority of what I eat is still plant-based. 

That means I’ve tried just about every vegan protein powder and shake there is searching for one that’s filling, delicious, and nutritious. As someone who prefers quick meals, I like to get the most out of anything I eat, and shakes make a lot of sense for me, so I’m excited to be writing this Sunwarrior Shape review.

I consider myself a health food junkie, which equates to me spending hours in health food stores examining products and reading labels to discover the next new thing. When I heard about Sunwarrior’s Shape line, I was intrigued. After reading through a few of their nutrition labels, I was very excited.

I have a somewhat complicated relationship with food and am super picky, but these products passed the test for me in terms of ingredients. I’ll tell you more about my experience with them from start to finish here.

Shipping

From ordering to delivery, my Sunwarrior Shape order arrived in 10 days. For reference, I live in Canada and had no complications or hiccups. 10 days seems to be the standard time it takes for orders to arrive from the US to my home.

Receiving & My Thoughts On Packaging

My Sunwarrior Shape order arrived in one big box. I was sent complimentary containers of Slim Collagen Boost, Lean Superfood Shake, Core Cleanser, and Burn Capsules. 

Inside the box was a sheet of package cushioning, and then because the Burn Capsules come in a glass bottle, they were covered by two sleeves of bubble wrap. 

Everything was in great condition with no bumps or cracks. The packaging was pretty minimal, what they included was necessary for protection. 

As for the packaging of the products themselves, it’s classic, clean, and easy to read. I appreciated all of the information they include on every formula. See my first impressions next in this Sunwarrior Shape review.

My First Impressions

As a 30-something, I’m always looking for products that will support my body through the aging process because I believe in being proactive. 

I really like the products included in the Shape line, and even though they are centered around weight loss, I’m a big fan of the ingredients inside each of them—even if I’m not particularly concerned about weight loss at this time. 

For example, the Slim Collagen Boost (which tastes like cake, by the way) contains hyaluronic acid to help your body create collagen. 

The Lean Superfood Shake contains a range of adaptogens, vitamins, and minerals, and even the Burn Capsules help smooth wrinkles and promote energy. 

As for the Core Cleanser, bloating is something I constantly struggle with so I couldn’t have received a more perfect product.

Just by looking at the ingredients label and what these products can help with, I thought they would all be incredibly beneficial for someone like me.

What I Think About Sunwarrior Shape

I mixed up all three of the powders (Lean, Slim, and Core Cleanser) according to their directions and was very pleased with how they tasted—like, really pleased. 

The Slim has a red velvet cake flavor, the Lean tastes like snickerdoodles, and the Core Cleanser is a refreshing strawberry flavor. 

When mixed with 8 oz of oat milk, the consistency is thick and creamy, and I used a shaker to ensure I didn’t have any clumps. 

After drinking Lean and Slim on two separate occasions, I noticed that they gave me a hit of immediate energy. They also were both very filling, and even though Slim has only 90 calories (which is kind of incredible for a protein shake), it felt like eating a meal. 

I really enjoyed drinking these shakes, and the capsules are easy enough to take. I would definitely look forward to taking these products daily, and I like knowing how good they are for me.

What I Liked About Sunwarrior Shape

As someone who is obsessed with ingredients, I’m really impressed with the ones inside the Shape line. 

Everything is plant-based and incredibly nutritious, and that’s exactly what I’m looking for. I liked that I felt energized when drinking their protein shakes and I did see the debloating effects of their Core Cleanser as well. 

It’s hard to evaluate the Burn Capsules right now, but in terms of ingredients, it’s a solid formula. 

In addition, Sunwarrior uses recycled BPA-free packaging for their containers or glass. That’s another major plus for me.

Would I recommend this brand to others?

Most definitely. I didn’t have any digestive issues with Lean or Slim which I sometimes can experience with vegan protein powders. I thought all of them tasted awesome, and I love the ingredients inside the formulas. 

This is a super clean brand with high-quality ingredients and I highly suggest picking up at least one of these formulas.

Sunwarrior SLIM Collagen Boost Review

The first thing that hit me about SLIM Collagen Boost Red Velvet Cupcake was the smell. It was like a rich chocolate cake mix. I shook mine up with 8 oz of oat milk and it was incredibly creamy. Sunwarrior recommends using 10-12 oz, but I like my shakes thick.  

I’m a chocolate lover, and this flavor was out of this world. But more so, I liked that by drinking it, I was supporting my body’s collagen production and increasing the rate at which I burn fat. 

Sunwarrior says it takes about 90 days to see results, but you will probably feel them before that. 

Quick note: while this product has ingredients that boost collagen like hyaluronic acid, organic tremella mushroom extract, and sea buckthorn powder, it does not actually contain collagen. However, some studies suggest that these plant-based ingredients help your body make collagen, meaning you will produce more on your own. 

In addition to its collagen-boosting powers, SLIM contains organic pea powder and organic brown rice protein peptides, as well as InnoSlim®, a smart formula with Astragalus membranaceus and Panax notoginseng to help decrease glucose absorption and support healthy weight loss.

Sunwarrior Lean Superfood Shake Review

The LEAN Superfood Shake was the first formula I tried from the Sunwarrior Shape line. I received the Snickerdoodle flavor and I was a huge fan. My favorite part might have been the chia seeds in the mixture, which added a nice little texture (and boosted satiety) when sipped through a straw at lunch. 

LEAN used to be called Lean Meal Illumin8, which had quite the following. You can get this delicious shake in vanilla, chocolate, and salted caramel flavors as well, and each one is brimming with nutritious plant-based ingredients that come from whole foods.

What’s inside? Everything from organic pea protein to MCT oil and organic marine red algae to an organic mushroom blend. You’ll also benefit from a wide range of fruits and vegetables, along with a string of B Vitamins and antioxidants. Did I mention it has probiotics as well?

I think this formula would go really well with water or juice rather than milk. It makes a pretty refreshing drink to sip on mid-morning, and since it has digestive enzymes, it’s also beneficial when taken after a meal.
